Stumbling around the internet.Well after month's of neglecting one of my many email addresses, I stumbled upon an affiliate program I joined. Which prompted me to blog about my quest of internet riches. Does this sound familiar? Do you stumble around the internet in search of riches like I used to, and still find myself doing every once in awhile? This is a huge problem with most people who turn to the internet in search of riches. I did it, and 2 years later, guess what, I'm definitely not rich, however I did learn about a lot of new things. Things like HTML, Drupal, Internet Marketing, SEO, and various other skills. Most of which are constant learning processes that will never be mastered due to the ever changing world of internet. I have however been able to land a great(not great paying, yet) job which I think I will be sticking with for awhile. So it hasn't been a complete waste of time, and hey I finally found something I love doing all the time, just ask my wife. LOL It involves everything I have been learning about online for the past 2 1/2 years, which is about the only thing in my life I haven't got bored with at some point which says a lot for me. I got bored of school, previous jobs, hobbies, and a few other things, so for me not to get bored of something is quite a feat I must say. I once received a bumper sticker from someone which said the following, which pretty much sums me up in a very short sentence. "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" J.R.R. Tolkien Can you relate? Watch this video and maybe you can relate to this scenario of the typical everyday person trying to make money online, maybe not as dramatic but I'm sure you can relate. Enjoy. The point I'm trying to make is you need to have some sort of direction and purpose if you want to make money online. Adding your name to a bunch of email lists, buying a bunch of products, and not following through with your tasks will lead you nowhere, and you may even end up acting like the guy in the video above. Sincerely,
