Happy Labor Day,
SO I finally got around to entering the Photrade Photo Contest sponsored by Apple. Below you'll find my photo submitted for entry, let me know what you think.
This contest has a great prize line up with the main prize being a trip to one of 4-5 Nation Parks for a fun filled day of photography with an expert,
followed by a session of hands on training using Apples Aperture program. This hands on session will include training with an Apple trained Aperture expert.
Winning a contest such as this would be wonderful, but even more exciting is people have an opportunity to see the kind of quality my photography is. It's not all this great, but I have been known to take some really great photo's.
This contest is being presented by Photrade which is a fairly new still in Beta, invite only website that allows a photographer the opportunity to generate revenue from their photos. Multiple ways to generate income include selling photo's, per view earning (kinda like AdWords for photography), among other methods.
Hope you enjoy the photo, and definitely keep an eye out for Photrade to launch out of Beta and into the mainstream for all photographers.
Hope everyone is having a great Labor Day, and check back soon for new post.
Sincerely,
Joshua Needham
P.S. I have a 2 more invites available so if you are interested in joining Photrade's beta testing program leave a comment with a brief reason why you are interested in using Photrade.
