Received an email from John Reese ordering a cease and desist order for affiliates negatively promoting Traffic Secrets 2.0. I love this guy! What a bunch of idiot affiliates promoting a product that will be the beginning of a new future for most who buy it yet these assholes are promoting TS2 like it's a scam or garbage product.
What these crack jobs don't realize is that it puts doubt in peoples minds that it may be a scam, or they may get ripped off so they are hesitant to even look at the sales page let alone think about forking out the cash to buy it.
Who are these affiliates to say John Reese ripped them off, or that Traffic Secrets is a scam?
All to often people place AdWords campaigns to scam review sites that are and have popped up everywhere in the last 3 years. More than likely a direct result of some product that came out, I won't name any, but I am pretty sure the one I'm thinking of teaches this tactic. But I don't think Traffic Secrets 2.0 is a product that should even be referenced on a scam site let alone promoted on one.
In my opinion the general public don't realize that most all of these scam sites out there are just affiliate funneling sites that are generating revenue off bogus information about products they don't buy, and just want to make a quick buck.
There are a couple of sites out there that provide good information about programs and products that are garbage, but most of these site are so obvious that if you are searching to see if it's a scam, then you already have doubts, and probably should avoid the site in the first place without having to dig up dirt.
This image indicates the Google AdWords ads that I ran briefly to promote TS2, and as you can see none are derogatory in any way, in fact I actually worded them the exact opposite of the affiliates John Reese targeted in the email that is also provided below.
I just want to start by saying that there's
a really good chance that this email will
not apply to you. It's only aimed at
a small number of people.(But I want all of our affiliates to read this.)
It's completely against the TOS for our
Affiliate Program to use *misleading*
advertising of any kind.Well, there are several of our affiliates
currently using misleading advertising --
especially with Google AdWords.Anyone that's using 'controversial' and/or
misleading headlines or ads will be
immediately terminated from the affiliate
program if they don't stop running
these ads right away.Stuff like, "John Reese Ripped Me Off"
or "Traffic Secrets Lies" etc. etc. Then of course the ad simply redirects
to someone's affiliate link or a review
page with their affiliate link. Are you running misleading, negative
ads like this? If you are, you have
only a matter of hours to kill all of
these ads or you will be terminated
from the affiliate program. We are working very hard to maintain
the INTEGRITY of our business
and we're not about to condone this
type of misleading marketing. For all of our other affiliates
(most likely like you) that are not
marketing with such tactics...THANK YOU.
Yours For Online Profits,
John Reese
As you can see he is not happy or tolerant of these type of affiliate tactics. Get with the program, trying to promote a product with advertising that is negative, or suggesting a possible scam is a cowardly way of getting clicks to a link, and I salute John for standing up for his product, and Income.com. His past speaks for itself with regards to producing results, and people should have a little more respect for him when promoting his products.
