Ecommerce, Traffic Secrets 2.0, Web Design, Family....Hello all, First of all the last couple of months have been very busy, stressful, and trying to say the least. I have been blessed recently with an opportunity to work with Claim the Web which is an e-commerce cart solution. I was brought on to boost revenue by implementing Internet Marketing strategies which I have been studying very intensely for over 3 years now, and it's time start implementing these strategies with my own flavor. My project focus will be taking charge of helping create site content, downloadable educational content, email marketing campaigns, as well as sales process improvements, and design assistance. My passion lies in the Internet Marketing, Business Consulting field and this is the perfect opportunity to shine like the sun in July. If you follow my blog you may have read about a merger with Ogden WebDesign & Hosting which I regret to inform you that it didn't work out. Not because I wasn't a fit, but because I had a different idea and goal of what it was exactly that I wanted to be doing. I've spent way to much time learning IM and I didn't want to waste my efforts by chasing down business locally or remotely. Not to mention the fact that the owner just wasn't motivated enough for me. His design work is great, but again I had a different view on where it is that I want to go with my future. This was another reason for getting out early, and cutting my losses before it got out of hand. Been down that road before, and it cost me $125k at least so no thanks to that! I have good news in that I have retained a lawyer to take action with regards to the aforementioned loss of way to much money so we'll see how that goes, and I'll keep you updated to the progress of the case. So as you can see, and hopefully understand why I haven't been as consistent as I would like to be. Oh and I started the TS2.0 Daily(or almost daily) blog which is a series based on my quest through the Traffic Secrets 2.0 course. I have also planned a Live Drupal Training event for October 13-17, 2008 in Ogden, UT. More info available at the Utah Drupal Group or by visiting http://drupaltraininglive.com. Provide your name and email for more info. My days are filled with things to do, a kid to raise, and a wife to keep happy. Some more good new whilst talking family, we are currently working on our second child which is very exciting, and well obviously enjoyable...;^) After three years of marriage, it's nice to know that my wife still enjoys the making part of having a baby, or maybe it's just because she wants to get pregnant. Either way I am enjoying the current situation as it's always nice to have her instigate some love making activities...LOL Well thanks again for reading, and I will try not to wait so long to post next time but you can hopefully understand why I haven't been posting often, and I hope to see some of you at my live event, and if not the event you can always contact me via the contact form. Sincerely, P.S. I am a twitter fanatic so if you want to keep up to date on current daily happenings please follow me on Twitter by clicking the following link.
